Introduction

 

Orient Research Journal of Social Sciences (ORJSS) publishes original and quality research in all disciplines of social sciences. ORJSS is a double-blind peer-reviewed and multidisciplinary research journal that publishes bi-annually by the Department of Political Science GC Women University Sialkot, Pakistan. This academic research journal addresses both applied and theoretical issues in social sciences in English language. Likely subscribers are universities, research institutions, governmental, non-governmental agencies and individual researchers.

Scope & Mission

 

Orient Research Journal of Social Sciences (ORJSS) is the official journal of Department of Political Science GC Women University Sialkot, Pakistan. The principal purpose of the journal is to publish scholarly work in different fields of Social Sciences. The research that is published may take a theoretical or speculative model as well as statistical and mathematical. Contributions are welcomed from all fields which have relevant and insightful comments to make about the social sciences.

  • The contributors are advised to submit their manuscript via email ([email protected] & [email protected]) as an attachment (Ms Word). It is desirable that referencing be in Chicago citation style at the footnote of the documents.
  • The documents should be typed in (MS Word) double space with wide margins. All tables and statistical data should be organized with consistent style so that it may easily be composed for the Journal.
  • Authors should submit abstracts of their articles 100-150 words along with three to five key words. The first page should include the title, author’s full name, designation, institutional affiliation, address and email address. The manuscript should be between 3000-7000 words.

The manuscript may be submitted electronically by 15th of the April for Issue-I (June) and 15th of October for Issue-II (December)

The Orient Research Journal of Social Sciences follows double blind review policy. The articles will be sent to referees (national/international) for blind review. Contributors will be informed about comments of the referees and will be required to revise the article accordingly, if required.

Note: The Editor/Advisory Board reserves the right to make necessary editorial revisions. Opinions expressed in articles are those of the contributors and should not be attributed to the Department, the Editor or Editorial Board in any way.
