Mission Statement

JQRSSS is an open access, indexed, double-blind, peer-reviewed bi-annual journal of the Department of Education, GC Women University Sialkot. This journal publishes research work of multiple disciplines focusing on qualitative research, thus contributing to the development of qualitative research methods, and practices. The journal does not have any theoretical subscription and provides a forum for the dissemination of research contributions from the perspectives of varied disciplines studying any aspect using qualitative methods of inquiry. However, the journal prefers to publish original empirical research studies while meeting the general criteria of rigor, scientific excellence, and significance.
It is our mission to promote research-based knowledge and accelerate the usage of qualitative research in Pakistan by encouraging researchers to use varied qualitative research techniques for academic and social development. We are committed to disseminating rigorous qualitative research studies from researchers and practitioners to the widest possible audience in academia, industry, and policy-making arenas; therefore, QJSS is freely accessible online. QJSS publishes two issues per year—the first in June and the second in December.
