Professional History:
Dr. Babar Shahzad Khan is an Associate Professor of Physics at GC
Women University Sialkot, Pakistan, with a distinguished academic and research career.
He earned his PhD in Physics from Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China,
specializing in template-directed electrodeposition of nanowires, followed by a postdoctoral
fellowship at Wuhan University of Science and Technology. His research interests include
photocatalytic activities, magneto-dielectric properties, and antimicrobial applications of
nanomaterials.
Dr. Khan has over 33 publications in reputable journals. He has supervised
more than 30 MS students and currently mentors 5 PhD and 7 MS students. Additionally, he
has secured research grants and participated in interdisciplinary projects, and in numerous
national/international workshops and training programs, demonstrating his commitment to
advancing scientific knowledge and innovation.
