The candidates seeking admission in BS program/s must have:

Faculty of Natural Sciences

Department of Botany

  • passed Intermediate or equivalent examination (premedical group) in 2nd division from any public/private institution.
  • studied Biology in Intermediate securing 50% marks in it.

Department of Chemistry

  • passed Intermediate or equivalent examination (premedical group) in 2nd division
    from any public/private institution.
  • studied Chemistry(200 marks) in Intermediate securing 50% marks in it.

Department of CS & IT

  • 50% marks in intermediate or equivalent
  • Mathematics and computer subjects in ICS/A-levels/equivalent.
  • At least 50% marks in computer Science and 45% marks in mathematics for ICS students.
  • 50% marks in mathematics for pre-engineering students.

Department of Environmental Science

  • passed Intermediate or equivalent examination both pre-engineering and pre-medical in 2nd division from any public/private institution.

Department of Mathematics

  • F.Sc (Pre-Engineering)./ICS (Mathmatics & Physics/Statistics) or equivalent qualification
    with mathematics (200 marks).
  • At least 50% marks in Mathematics (200 Marks).

Department of Statistics

  • Passed ICS or equivalent examination in 2nd division from any public/private institution.
  • At least 50% marks in Statistics as a compulsory subject.

Department of Physics

  • passed Intermediate (pre-engg./pre-medical and ICS with Physics) or equivalent examination in 2nd division from any public/private institution, preference will be given to pre-engineering and ICS.
  • studied Physics (200 marks) in Intermediate securing 50% marks in it.

Department of Zoology

  • passed Intermediate (pre-medical) or equivalent examination in 2nd division from any public/private institution.
  • studied Biology in Intermediate securing 50% marks in it.

Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences

Department of English

  • All the students may apply for BS English; however the students who have studied English Literature will be given preference.
  • Students must have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination in 2nd division from any public/private institution.

Department of Fine Arts (BFA)

  • All students may apply for BFA in Fine Arts having passed Intermediate or equivalent exam with 2nd division.

Department of Islamic Studies

  • All the students may apply for BS Islamic Studies; however the students who have studied Islamic studies as an elective subject will be given preference.
  • Students must have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination in 2nd division from any public/private institution.

Department of Political Science

  • All the students may apply for BS political science; however the students who have studied Political Science, International relations, Civics, Journalism, History, Geography as an elective subject will be given preference.
  • Students must have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination in 2nd division from any public/private institution.

Department of Psychology

  • All the students may apply for BS Psychology
  • Students must have passed F.A (Psychology)/F.Sc (Pre-medical) or equivalent examination in 2nd division from any public/private institution.

Department of Socialogy

  • All the students may apply for BS Sociology;
  • Students must have passed F.A/F.Sc or equivalent examination in 2nd division from any public/private institution.

Department of Urdu

  • All the students may apply for BS Urdu.
  • Applicants must have passed intermediate or equivalent examination in 2nd division from any public/private institution.
  • 50% marks in Urdu elective or Urdu Compulsory.

Faculty of Administration and Managment Science

Department of Business Administration (BBA)

  • All the students may apply for BS in Business Administartion.
  • Applicants must have passed intermediate or equivalent examination in 2nd division
    from any public/private institution.

Department of Economics

  • All the students may apply for BS Economics.
  • Applicants must have passed intermediate or equivalent examination in 2nd division
    from any public/private institution.

Disability basis:

02 % seats are reserved for the disabled applicants.

  • Hard of hearing and short sightedness do not fall under disability category.
  • The disabled candidates must attach a certificate of their physical disability issued by the District Disability Board

Sports basis:

02 % seats are reserved for sports basis.

  • The candidates must attach their certificates of board, division and district level.
  • They have to appear for trials on the prescribed date.

Co-Curricular Activities:

  • 01% seats are reserved for Co-curricular activities which include drama, English, Urdu and Punjabi debates, Qirat / Naat.
  • The attested copies of co-curricular certificate must be attached with admission form.
  • The trials will be held on particular dates. Semester freeze shall be allowed to these students without any additional fee.
  • The students will be required to participate in sports / co-curricular activities within and outside University.

Reserved Seats for University Employees:

01% seats are reserved for the real daughters of serving University employees on inter-se-merit.

Kinship Basis:

02% seats are reserved on kinship basis.

  • The candidate must attach the attested photocopy of degree/ certificate of her real sister.

Inter Provincial Seats:

20 seats are reserved for the students of Sindh, Balochistan, KPK, Gilgit-Baltistan, FATA and
Azad Kashmir. Full fee waiver and free hostel accommodation is allowed by the Competent Authority to such candidates. The candidate should attach the copy of her domicile as well as her father or guardian’s domicile.

Foreign Students:

05 seats are reserved for the foreign students with foreign passport. They will be selected on inter-se-merit and shall pay additional fee as fixed by Federal Government.

Seats for daughters of Overseas Pakistanis:

10 seats are reserved for daughters of overseas Pakistanis. The Candidate must attach the copy of employment certificate and passport of her father or guardian. Candidates will be selected on inter-se-merit and shall pay additional fee as fixed by Federal Government.

  1. The applicants may obtain admission forms along with the prospectus from the office of the main campus, Sialkot and the offices of affiliated colleges and sub campuses on the day duly notified and advertised.
  2. They are required to fill out the form in their own handwriting.
  3. The agreement at the back of the form must be signed by the applicant as well as by the parent or guardian.
  4. They are directed to attach the attested photocopies of the following documents with the form Detailed Marks Card of:-
    1. Matriculation / O-Level Certificate
    2. Detailed Marks Card of F.A/F.Sc/A-level Certificate
    3. Equivalence Certificates issued by IBCC
    4. Provisional character certificate from the institution last attended
    5. CNIC of the Candidate as well as Father/Guardian
    6. Monthly income certificate of Father/ Guardian
    7. Domicile Certificate
  5. The University will display a list of the provisionally selected candidates on the University Notice Board and/or the University website.
  6. The selected candidates will pay / deposit admission fee and other dues within the notified dates, Otherwise their admission will automatically stand cancelled.
  7. After the display of merit list, all the selected applicants are required to bring the original documents, one set of attested photocopy of these documents and four photographs at the time of depositing the dues.
  8. The selected candidates will be admitted provisionally and the verification committee will confirm admission after the verification of the documents. If at any stage after the admission it comes to the knowledge of the authorities that the documents presented by the applicant are fake or there is a misstatement or clerical error in the document, her admission will be cancelled.
