It is evident that empowering women benefit countries\noverall and not just women. Women empowerment requires steps involving the\nresources, agency and achievements of girls and women of all ages. In addition\nto the intrinsic moral value of gender equality, empowerment of girls and\nwomen may also result in better development and demographic outcomes.\nTherefore, to promote gender equality in society, GC Women University\nSialkot in collaboration with Government of Punjab, Women Development\nDepartment (WDD) Punjab has established Women Development Center\n(WDC) at Government College Women University Sialkot. A memorandum of\nunderstanding was signed on 31 st January 2022. Women Development Center\nGC Women University Sialkot aim at promoting women&#39;s rights, leadership\nand empowerment by providing required life skills, leadership training, and\ncareer counseling services in the premises of GCWU Sialkot.
