Mr. Ahmad Mujtaba Ali is a Lecturer at the Department of English, Government College Women University, Sialkot. Before joining GCWUS, he worked as Lecturer in English at GIFT University, Gujranwala. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Linguistics. Mujtaba holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) with his research focused on Linguistics from Beaconhouse National University. He won his place in the Dean’s List of Honor for MPhil coursework. He was also the recipient of the Gold Medal in MA English Language and Literature from GIFT University.
With a demonstrated history (7 years) of working at various levels in higher education, Mujtaba has presented his research work at International Conferences. His research papers have been published in prestigious research journals. He has supervised several research theses at the BS, MA, and MPhil levels and has conducted training workshops for MPhil scholars. His areas of specialisation include Psychology of Language Learning, Individual Differences in Second Language Learning, Cognitive Semantics, Language Variation, and TESOL. He is a member of the International Association for the Psychology of Language Learning (IAPLL) and the Linguistic Association of Pakistan (LAP).
