Dr. Sundas Khan is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Mathematics, GC Women University Sialkot. She served as Assistant Professor (2017-2018) in Department of Mathematics, Mohiuddin Islamic University, Nerian Sharif, Azad Kashmir. She received her PhD degree in Mathematics in 2017, MS and BS in Mathematics in 2013 and 2011, respectively, from Comsats Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan.
She has published seven research papers in well reputed international peer reviewed ISI journals. Her current research interests include Optimization Techniques, Numerical Analysis, Variational Inequalities and Convex Analysis. She is currently working on the special types of variational inequalities and their applications in optimization theory and machine learning strategies. She received two research productivity awards from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in 2014 and 2015. She regularly participated in national conferences, training sessions and workshops. She is also engaged in various administrative tasks at the departmental level as well as at the university level.
