Dr. Sadia Maalik

Dr’ Sadia maalik started my professional career after completion of my PhD during  may 2014. I completed my Interim placement at GC Women University,Faisalabad. After that in 2015 I got selected as regular assistant professor in GC Women University, Sialkot. Till then I am working here.

I carried out research during my MSc, M.Phill and PhD and titles were as

• “Seasonal variations and movement patterns of house mouse Mus musculus in wheat sugarcane based agro-ecosystem of Faisalabad” (M.sc Thesis)
• “Feeding links of various arthropods occurring on vegetables” (M.phil Thesis)
• “Relative abundance and role of braconid larval parasitoids in containing lepidopteran populations in district Faisalabad” (PhD Thesis)

My honor and awards are

• Study of eco-biology of braconid larval parasitoids and their role in containing lepidopteran populations in selected agro-ecosystems of Punjab, Pakistan. (NRPU: HEC  Approved)
• Produced 8 students of MS four as supervisor and 4 as co supervisor and 4 students are ready for their viva to complete MS
• Indigenous fellowship for M.Phil leading to PhD from HEC.
• Letter of Appreciation from Vice Chancellor, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (Submission of Thesis within minimum Time duration).
• Member of Selection Board (As Subject Experts) for Lecturers and Associate Lecturers.
• Viva Examiner for M. Sc and M.Phil thesis examination.
