Dr. Amina Sadiq obtained her M.Sc. degree with specialization in Organic Chemistry in 2002, from Govt. College Sargodha in affiliation with University of the Punjab, Lahore. She did MPhil from Quaid-i- Azam University, Islamabad in 2005 and earned her Ph.D degree from Bielefeld University, Germany in 2013 in the field of Bioorganic Chemistry. She did post-doctorate from Bielefeld University, Germany where she worked on the synthesis of Aurone derivatives. Major area of her interest are synthesis of natural products, particularly amino acids and flavonoid synthesis. Dr. Amina Sadiq has 18 publications in international Journals and attended several international and national conferences and symposia.
