Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz started his teaching career as a subject specialist from Tehsil Public Grammar & Higher Secondary School Pasrur where he served for almost three years (2006-2009) before moving to China for higher studies. He completed his PhD English on scholarship from Northeast Normal University, Changchun, Jilin, China in 2012 and joined Department of English, University of Gujrat in September 2012 as an assistant professor. In March 2014, he joined Department of English, Majmaah University, KSA as an assistant professor. In August 2017, he returned to Pakistan and joined GC Women University Sialkot as an assistant professor in the Department of English.
He has won different awards and honors including PHEC Indigenous Post-Doc Fellowship, Pakistan Solidarity Award by PHEC, Travel Grant to Turkey by PHEC, Travel Grant to Japan by HEC, Rosa Aronson Award from TESOL International and Best paper award from European Network for Academic Integrity. He has presented his research in more than 25 national and international conferences and has been invited as Guest Speaker in different national conferences. He has more than 35 national and international publications to his credit.
