Professional History:
Dr. Imran Aslam is an Associate Professor at Department of Physics. He earned PhD degree from Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in 2015 and Postdoc from National Centre for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST), Chinese Academy of Sciences under CAS-PIFI Fellowship in 2017. He worked as Assistant Professor (2017-2023) at Basic
Sciences and Humanities (Physics) Department, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Narowal Campus along with additional duties as Resident Officer.
He has published more than 60 research papers as author/co-author in well-reputed international journals (citations:3200, h-index 27, i10-index 43) and is a reviewer of
several international journals. He has 15 years of research/teaching experience, supervised MS/PhD dissertations and delivered several research talks on
photocatalysis in seminars and conferences as invited speaker.

He has been awarded “Distinguished Student Award 2013-2014” by Beijing Institute of Technology, and Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal Award 2020 by Istehkam-E-Pakistan Foundation.
