One day workshop on the theme of “Growing Intolerance and Aggressive Behaviour in Society” was conducted by DrUmaraRauf (Assistant Professor, Consultant Clinical Psychologists) at Sialkot Medical Complex Hospital. The main purpose of the workshop was to provide “Anger Management Skills” to the students, teachers, trainers, medical and mental health practitioners. Medical superintendent (Col DrHabib- ullah khan Suri) Medical officer (DrAyoub) from Sialkot Medical Complex and MsUzmaSarwar (workshop facilitator) and MsSalbiaAbbass from Government Collage Women University, Sialkot also joined the session. The resource person (Dr. UmaraRauf) made the whole participants learn through different psychological therapeutic techniques that how negative emotions can be identified and transformed into positive emotions. Through Progressive Muscles Relaxation exercise (PMR) and other Cognitive Techniques they were practiced to control and manage their anger. It was an effective workshop for the healthy management of emotions feelings and behaviour.
