BS Physics (Morning and Self-Support)

  • Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters)
  • Teaching System: Semester System

Eligibility Criteria for BS Physics:

  • The candidates seeking admission in BS Physics program must have:
  • Passed F.Sc. or equivalent examination in 2nd division.
  • Studied Physics (200 marks) in Intermediate and secured 50% marks in it.

    • BS Computational Physics (Morning and Self-Support):

  • Duration: 4 Years (8 Semesters)
  • Teaching System: Semester System

    • Eligibility Criteria for BS-Computational Physics:

  • The candidates seeking admission in BS Computational Physics program must have:
  • Passed F.Sc. or equivalent examination in 2nd division.
  • Studied Physics (200 marks) in Intermediate and secured 50% marks in it.

    • BS 5 th Semester Induction Physics

  • Duration: 2 Years (4 Semesters)
  • Teaching System: Semester System

    • Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidates seeking admission in BS 5 th Semester Induction Physics program must have passed B.Sc with one of the following combinations:
  • Physics, Mathematics A Course, Mathematics B Course studied physics as an elective subject securing 50% marks in it.
  • Physics, General Mathematics + any other science subject. At least second division in B.Sc. with minimum of 50% marks in Physics as well as 50% marks in “any other science subject”

    • MS Physics

    • Duration: 2 Years (4 Semesters)
    • Teaching System: Semester System

    Eligibility Criteria for MS Physics:

    • MS 2-years: The candidates seeking admission in MS Physics program must have completed their 16 years (BS/MSc in Physics) of education with at least CGPA 2.5/4.0 in semester system.

    Ph.D Physics

    • Duration: 3-5 Years
    • Teaching System: Semester System

    Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D Physics:

    • Ph.D. 3-5-years: The candidates seeking admission in Ph.D. Physics program must have completed their 18 years (M.S./M.Phil in Physics) of education with at least CGPA 3.0/4.0 in semester system and 1st division in annual system.

    Note: Departmental Entry Test (GRE Subject & General type) will be conducted for MS and Ph.D. Programs. 60% and 70 %marks in Entry Test are required for MS and Ph.D. programs respectively to qualify for interview.
