- The Selection Board consists of–
- The Vice Chancellor (Chairperson)
- Dean of the faculty concerned
- Chairperson of the department concerned
- One [female] member of the Syndicate to be nominated by the Syndicate
- One eminent scholar to be nominated by the Syndicate
- Two experts [including at least one female expert] to be nominated by the Government; and
- Registrar (Secretary)
- The members other than ex-officio members hold office for a period of three years.
- Five members including at least one expert constitutes the quorum for a meeting of the Selection Board.
