Celebration of Hafta SHAN E REHMATUL-LIL-ALMEEN

Event title: Celebration of Hafta SHAN E REHMATUL-LIL-ALMEEN ”QIRAT, NAAT AND SPEECH CONTEST ”, Gujranwala Division.
Event time, date, and location: Oct 13, 2021, at University of Gujrat.
Organizer: Hayatian Debating Society and Student Service Center, UOG
Brief description: It was a division level contest, in which allpublic and private universities in Gujranwala division has invited to participate in the said contests separately in male and Female categories and the winners were awarded by certificates, shields and cash prizes by the hands of the respected Vice Chancellor of UOG, Prof. Dr. Shabbar Atiq.

Results: All the three participants of GCWUS earned the prestige to win as follows:

  • Malyka Anjam from the Department of Botany (Semester 7th) got 1st position in naat contest and awarded by 15000 cash prize.
  • Habiba Dilawar from the Department of Maths (Semester 5th) got 2nd position in speech contest and awarded by 13000 cash prize.
  • Kalsoom Dilawar from the Department of Chemistry (Semester 5th) got 2nd position in qirat contest and awarded by 13000 cash prize.
