In this post-global world, Research serves as guiding principle for social and economic development (Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kausar, Worthy Vice Chancellor, GCWUS).
Research broadens our vision and provides new horizons to explore hidden realities around us. A positive research culture encourages tolerance, vision and respect for humanity among masses in a society. These points were stressed by Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Kausar (Worthy VC GCWUS) while chairing a NRPU Dialogue with PhD Research Faculty organized to encourage faculty members to submit their research projects for National Research Program for Universities (NRPU).
Madam Vice Chancellor
particularly encouraged social scientists to submit their proposals for community development and welfare of the society.
Dr. Hafiz Abd Ur Rahman from Chemistry Department and Dr. Tariq Mehmood from Physics Department discussed various issues faced by faculty related to NRPU projects. They provided detailed guidelines and answered queries of faculty members in this regard. They also discussed steps involved in evaluation of the projects and qualities of the approved proposals.
All faculty members appreciated guidelines provided by the resource persons, time and efforts of the Worthy Vice Chancellor and thanked ORIC GCWUS for organizing this event.
